FULAFIA and Nasarawa State Ministry of Health Join Forces for World Hepatitis Day Awareness and Free Services
The event is scheduled for Monday, July 29, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM promptly. The road walk will commence at 7:50 AM from the Takeoff Site Gate to Gandu, opposite the Police Academy.
The FULAFIA Community Service Committee, in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Ministry of Health, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, and the Department of Social Work, is organizing an event to commemorate World Hepatitis Day. Themed "It's Time for Action," the event will feature a range of activities including counseling, Hepatitis B and C testing, and a road walk.
Under the chairmanship of Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia, the event aims to raise awareness about hepatitis and offer free vaccinations to participants.
