FULafia Hosts Special Commemorative Prayers to Mark Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kida’s First 100 Days in Office

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), on Friday, May 22, 2026, held a special Juma’a prayer to commemorate 100 days in office of its Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida.
The prayer session was led by the University’s Chief Imam, Prof. Muhammad Tanko Aliyu, who offered prayers for divine guidance and wisdom for Kida and continued progress for the University.
It would be recalled that, Prof. Kida assumed office as the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia on February 11, 2026.
The imam thanked Allah for the successes recorded in the University, seeking continued blessings for the University's administration.
Similarly, Christians in the University are expected to hold special thanksgiving service in honour of Kida on Sunday at the 500-seat Auditorium, Permanent Site Campus.
Speaking, Kida expressed his gratitude to Allah for the peace, unity and sustained development in the University.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the institution’s core values of integrity, innovation and excellence, adding that efforts would continue toward infrastructural development and the promotion of innovative academic research in the university.
