FULafia Partners with Federal Fire Service to Enhance Campus Fire Safety and Compliance

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has assured the Federal Fire Service of its commitment to supporting fire safety operations across the institution. 

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Partnerships, Prof. Ibrahim Ogiri Hassan, gave the assurance while receiving a Federal Fire Service team led by Superintendent Jibrin Muhammad at the University’s Permanent Site Campus.

The visit formed part of a nationwide assessment of fire service units in TETFund beneficiary institutions. 

Prof. Hassan described the Fire Service as vital to national development and campus safety. 

The team inspected TETFund projects at the University to evaluate fire safety policies, installations and certification compliance.
