Fulafia VC Abdul Rahman bumps into Braide in Abuja, extols her virtues

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has during an official visit to the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, met with his predecessor and the pioneer vice-chancellor of FULafia, Prof Ekanem Braide, myschoolnews Report.

The meeting of the two distinguished scholars and university administrators was coming a few weeks after Prof. Braide was honoured by Abdul Rahman in the University at Lafia, Nasarawa State. 

Braide, therefore, thanked Abdul Rahman for what she described as the wonderful gesture of honouring her at the University she helped to nurture.

“For that honour you have given to me, I’ll remain indebted to you,” she said to Abdul Rahman.

Earlier, Abdul Rahman expressed his happiness for the chanced meeting with the former vice-chancellor whom he described as his mentor. 

He commended her for the durable structures she has put in place in FULafia, saying that he would continue with her tradition of excellence in the administration of the University.
