FULafia VC Tasks Deans, Heads of Depts on Innovation

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has charged deans, directors, and heads of departments to initiate innovative ideas to drive the development of the University.

Speaking at the unveiling of equipment procured by the Directorate of Academic Planning, the Vice-Chancellor commended the Director, Prof. Ilemona Adofu, for his creativity in providing the equipment and urged other leaders in the University to emulate him.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of innovation in addressing the challenges facing the University, stating that "the willingness to adopt innovation may determine the health and success of the University."

He commended the staff of the directorate for their hard work and dedication, assuring them that their sacrifices would not be in vain.

The equipment unveiled included four laptop computers and two printing machines, which the Director of Academic Planning said would ease the work of his staff, particularly during accreditation exercises and other activities.

Present at the ceremony were heads of units and staff of the directorate.
