FUNAAB Staff Honour Prof. Atayese with Appreciation Meeting

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development (DVCD), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), held a special in-house Appreciation Meeting to honour Professor Mufutau Olaoye Atayese, the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development). The meeting took place on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

The event provided an opportunity for staff to celebrate Prof. Atayese's remarkable leadership, commitment, and contributions to the development of the University. Members of the team shared fond memories and extolled his visionary leadership and humane approach to administration.

In his response, Prof. Atayese expressed deep gratitude for the kind gesture, promising to continue flying the flag of FUNAAB with pride as a worthy ambassador. He recently assumed duty as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture and Development Studies, Iragbiji, Osun State.

The meeting was attended by notable figures, including the former Ag. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ololade Enikuomehin, and the wife of the immediate past DVC, Development, Dr. Adijat Atayese.

The event underscored the University's culture of appreciation and the enduring bonds of collegiality within the system.
