FUNAAB Staff School Pupils Embark on University Tour
Pupils of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Staff School recently went on a familiarization tour of the university as part of activities marking the end of the 2024/2025 academic session. The tour aimed to broaden their academic horizons and inspire future career aspirations.
The pupils, led by their Head Teacher and other officials, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, in his office. Prof. Kehinde welcomed the pupils and encouraged them to explore the campus with curiosity and enthusiasm.
During the tour, the pupils visited key university facilities, including the University Library, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology Services (DICTS), and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies (CENTS). They also participated in a live session at FUNAAB Radio and visited the Career Fair Exhibition.
A highlight of the visit was when a pupil, Master Joseph Opakunle, presented a hand-drawn portrait of the Vice-Chancellor, which Prof. Kehinde appreciated with a token of gratitude. The tour concluded with the pupils expressing gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for his warm reception and inspiring words.
