FUTA Alumnus, Subuloye Baale Isaac Wins President’s NYSC Honors Award

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has celebrated one of its distinguished alumni, Subuloye Baale Isaac, who was recently named among the recipients of the prestigious President’s NYSC Honors Award.

The award ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, and recognized outstanding corps members who distinguished themselves during their national service.

Representing Osun State on the Federal platform, Subuloye described the honor as a humbling experience and a reminder of the true essence of service. He noted that service is not only about action but also about transforming lives and shaping mindsets.

According to him, “This award is not just a personal milestone. It is a call to greater responsibility: to contribute meaningfully to nation-building by investing in what matters most—the minds of our people.”

He emphasized that the progress of a nation is not built on chance but on the collective mindset of its citizens, stressing that Nigeria’s greatness must begin in the hearts and minds of her people.

Subuloye further stated his commitment to education, research, and lifelong learning, adding that the foundation of a great nation lies in developing its human capital, inspiring innovation, and nurturing curiosity among the younger generation.

He pledged to continue shaping a future where knowledge translates into power in action, and where dreams, daring, and development transform Nigeria from within.
