FUTA Don, Professor Akinbile, Awarded Fellowship by Nigerian Society of Engineers
Professor Christopher Akinbile, a distinguished figure in Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has been conferred with the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) is celebrating the recent conferment of the Fellowship of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) upon Professor Christopher Akinbile, a distinguished figure in Agricultural Engineering.

The ceremony, held at the NSE Headquarters in Central Area Abuja on May 15, 2024, saw NSE President, Engr. Mrs. Margret Oguntala, fnse, formally conferring the fellowship upon Professor Akinbile and 62 other esteemed engineers from various divisions under the NSE umbrella.
In her address, Engr. Oguntala charged the new conferees to uphold the values of the Society and actively contribute to the nation's development, fostering the wellbeing of its citizens.
The occasion was marked by formal admittance, decoration, and the presentation of plaques, symbolizing the prestigious honor bestowed upon the recipients.
With this distinction, Professor Akinbile, who also serves as the chairman of FUTA Sports Council, now bears the esteemed title of Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, denoted by the prestigious FNSE suffix appended to his name.
