The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has announced the reopening of its registration portal for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME screening exercise, giving prospective candidates an additional opportunity to complete their applications. The extended registration period will run from Thursday, October 3, to Monday, October 7, 2024.

This extension comes as a relief to candidates who have yet to finalize their registration or upload their O'Level results, as the previous registration deadline had passed. The FUTA Management emphasized that all applicants must complete their registration within this period, as there will be no further extensions.

Candidates are reminded that failure to register and complete all necessary steps within the stipulated period will disqualify them from the screening process, and consequently, they will not be considered for admission into the university. Additionally, all applicants must ensure their O'Level results are properly uploaded on both the JAMB CAPS and the FUTA website by Monday, October 7, 2024. Failure to upload results on these platforms will render candidates ineligible for admission.

FUTA further clarified that candidates will bear the responsibility for the verification of their O'Level results, stressing that the university will not process applications with unverified results.
