FUTA Hosts Exhibition on “Creating Opportunities” Ahead of 36th Convocation

The exhibition showcased products and research outputs from students, staff, and groups within the university, highlighting creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial potential, with particular focus on food security. It provided a platform for participants to present groundbreaking ideas and projects, promote collaboration, and develop practical opportunities for growth within and beyond the FUTA community.
Attendees experienced a wide array of creative works and initiatives designed to address real-world challenges. The exhibition featured interactive sessions, product demonstrations, and presentations, allowing participants to network, exchange ideas, and explore collaborative opportunities.
At the event, Vice-Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji commended the organizers and participants for their creativity and vision, noting that the exhibition reflects FUTA’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and excellence. She emphasized that such initiatives bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, preparing students to become global problem-solvers.

The exhibition was attended by FUTA’s Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Professor Timothy Amos (DVCA) and Professor Sunday Oluyamo (DVCD), Honourable Akin Oguniyi, and other principal officers and management staff. Their presence underscored the university’s dedication to supporting initiatives that cultivate creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial development among students and the wider academic community.
