Genius 360, an Information and Communication Technology firm operating within the Federal University Lokoja campus, has paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Ibileye, to express appreciation for the university’s continued support since the firm’s establishment on campus.

The ICT outfit, which provides services including printing and binding of student projects, stationery supply, and graphic design, has grown into a key technology support hub for students within the university environment.
Speaking during the visit, the Chief Executive Officer of Genius 360, Aminu Abdul, who is also a postgraduate student of the university, noted that the Vice-Chancellor had previously served in an acting capacity before becoming substantive Vice-Chancellor, describing the continuity in leadership as significant for institutional stability and growth.
He commended the university management for creating an enabling environment that has allowed the business to develop and serve the student community effectively. He added that while the firm is still evolving, it remains committed to steady growth and plans to expand its impact through structured corporate social responsibility initiatives within the university.
In response, Professor Ibileye thanked the management team of Genius 360 for the visit and their goodwill. He referenced receiving a large volume of congratulatory messages upon his appointment, noting that he made efforts to respond personally to many of them as a gesture of appreciation.
The Vice-Chancellor advised the young entrepreneurs to position themselves as solution-driven actors, stressing that sustainable success comes from identifying and addressing real societal gaps rather than focusing on challenges alone. According to him, opportunities exist where problems are effectively solved.

He further drew from his personal academic journey, highlighting the importance of building meaningful professional relationships early in one’s career as a foundation for long-term growth and impact.
