Gombe State University's Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office (IPTTO) successfully hosted the institution's inaugural research fair on December 17, 2024, at the Convocation Square.

This groundbreaking event marked a significant milestone in fostering a robust research culture within the university and across Northern Nigeria.

The research fair brought together esteemed guests, including the University Council Chairman, Barr. Joshua Lidani, council members, Commissioners of Higher Education and Information, and senior management staff.

In his remarks, the Director of Research and Development, Prof. O.A. Adepoju, and the IPTTO Coordinator, Dr. Suleiman Muhammed, underscored the importance of research focused on addressing community challenges.

 

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sani Ahmed Yauta, officially declared the fair open, marking the beginning of a new era in research and innovation at Gombe State University.
