Governor Sule Challenges NSUK Alumni to Mobilize Resources for Development

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, has called on the Alumni Association of Nasarawa State University Keffi (NSUK) to mobilize resources in support of the government's efforts to improve the standard of education in the institution and the state.

This challenge was made during the inauguration of the new national officials of the Association on June 4, 2025.

The Governor, represented by the State Head of Civil Service, Barrister Abigail Waya, urged the new officials to rally their members to mobilize resources for the development of their alma mater. The Vice Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, pledged the management's commitment to collaborating with development-oriented organizations to take the university to greater heights.

Dr. Vincent Paul, a senior lecturer at NSUK, emphasized the importance of a strong financial base in achieving set objectives. He noted that the new alumni leadership needs to work towards securing funds to support infrastructural development and provide scholarship awards to indigent students.

The newly inaugurated officials of the NSUK Alumni Association include Barrister Nuhu John Egya (President), Comrade Saleh Malam Zaman (Vice President), and others. The event featured the launch of a trust fund for legacy projects and the donation of a brand new Toyota Cienna Bus to the Association by Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada.
