Hillside University of Science and Technology (HUST) is set to hold its second matriculation ceremony on March 13, 2025, at the Odubabakoko Auditorium. The event, scheduled to commence at 9:00 AM, marks another significant milestone in the university’s journey towards academic excellence and innovation.
A year ago, HUST welcomed its pioneer students in a historic matriculation ceremony themed “Disruptive Innovation for National Development.” The event featured distinguished scholar Professor Emmanuel Iyayi Unuabonah, who underscored the importance of innovation in shaping Nigeria’s future. During that ceremony, the university’s President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Iheanyichukwu Okoro, made a resounding pledge to challenge students intellectually while nurturing their creativity, practical skills, and social responsibility. His vision set the foundation for the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic and personal development.
Now, as HUST prepares for its second matriculation, the university celebrates not just another milestone but a reflection of its steady growth. This year’s theme, “Learners to Leaders: Knowledge, Enterprise, and Growth,” encapsulates the university’s dedication to transforming students into future leaders. The ceremony will feature Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola as the guest speaker, further reinforcing the institution’s mission to inspire and equip students for success.
