Miona’s passion for astronomy traces back to her childhood days in Chicago, where she dreamed of exploring the cosmos. Inspired by a Kraft cheese commercial featuring a cow jumping over the moon, she harbored aspirations of venturing among the stars from a tender age.

Fuelled by determination and unwavering support from her mother, Miona embarked on her journey to pursue her childhood dream. Her steadfast resolve led her to accomplish remarkable feats, including meeting her idol, renowned astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson, during her time at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STSI).
