The Management of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), has issued an official clarification regarding the ongoing mid-semester break, noting that the recess is strictly for students and does not apply to university personnel.

In a circular signed by the Deputy Registrar (Information), Alhaji Baba Akote, the University directed all academic and non-teaching staff to maintain their regular work schedules.

While students remain on break, staff were only granted the statutory public holidays declared by the Federal Government to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday (April 3 and April 6, 2026).
