The Igbinedion University, Okada has released the provisional admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.
All candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise are advised to check their status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
To check admission status, candidates should:
- Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with their registered email address and password.
- Click on Check Admission Status.
- Select Access my CAPS.
- Click on Admission Status to view the decision.
Successful candidates will see their admission details displayed along with a congratulatory message. Those not yet admitted will receive the response, “Sorry No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”
Admitted candidates are required to accept or reject their offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. Candidates have four weeks to accept the offer, after which the admission may lapse. Those without access to their registered phone numbers must visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.
It is also important for admitted students to print their JAMB admission letters after acceptance, as these will be needed during clearance and registration at the university.
Candidates using mobile phones may need to enable desktop mode on their browsers, preferably Chrome, to access the full CAPS page and admission status option.
