Ilorin Emirate Professors in KWASU Assert Qualifications for VC Position

A group of professors from the Ilorin Emirate in the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, known as the Ilorin Emirate Professors in KWASU, has asserted their qualifications to contest for the position of Vice Chancellor (VC) in any university in Nigeria, including KWASU. This declaration comes amidst ongoing discussions and endorsements for the next substantive VC of the state university.

The group defended its members' capabilities, stating, "Ilorin Emirate Professors in KWASU are very responsible citizens of the state and are doing everything possible to support the growth and development of the University." They highlighted their commitment to professionalism, meritocracy, and healthy competition.
Addressing recent publications, the statement expressed disapproval of what it deemed as "malicious/unguarded publications from uninformed members of the public." The professors reaffirmed their dedication to supporting the current management of KWASU and pledged to fulfill their duties as per the university's regulations.
