Imo State University (IMSU) has introduced a simple method for calculating Post-UTME scores for prospective students applying for the 2024/2025 academic session. This new approach aims to provide transparency and clarity in the assessment process.

According to IMSU, the calculation of the Post-UTME score involves the following steps:
1. Divide Your JAMB Score by 8:
- For instance, if a candidate's JAMB score is 320, they would divide it by 8.
- Calculation Example: 320 ÷ 8 = 40
2. Divide Your Post-UTME Score by 2:
- Similarly, if a candidate scores 70 in the Post-UTME screening, they would divide it by 2.
- Calculation Example: 70 ÷ 2 = 35

3. Add the Results Together:
- Finally, sum up the results from the two divisions (JAMB and Post-UTME).
