IMT Enugu SUG Announces Resolutions on Tricycle Fare and Routes

The Student Union Government (SUG) at IMT Enugu has resolved to keep tricycle fares at ₦100 per drop despite recent fuel price increases. Tricycles will now follow a new route, stopping at the Old Mass Communication Building before Campus 4.

The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, has announced new resolutions regarding tricycle fares and routes following recent increases in transportation costs.

In response to the recent fuel price hike, which led to a fare increase from ₦100 to ₦150 per drop, the SUG President and executive members engaged in discussions with both the school and tricycle management. The resolutions are as follows:

  1. Fare Reduction: The fare per drop will be maintained at ₦100.
  2. Route Adjustment: Tricycles will now bypass the New Mass Communication route and instead stop at the Old Mass Communication Building before proceeding to Campus 4, the final bus stop.
