JAMB Expands DE Registration Centres Amid Candidate Upsurge

In a strategic move to accommodate the increasing number of Direct Entry (DE) candidates, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the expansion of registration centers beyond its Professional Registration Centers (PRCs). This decision comes as a response to the significant upsurge in prospective DE candidates in several states.

Lagos State, known for its bustling educational activities, has added three new centers to ease the registration process. These include the JAMB PRCs located at No 11, Ojora Road, Ikoyi, and No 35-37, Isheri Road, Ogba, Ikeja. Additionally, ETC Nigeria Limited at 229, JKK House Ikorodu Road, Ilupeju, has been designated as a registration point.

In Oyo State, the JAMB Zonal Office at Quarters 845, Agodi G.R.A, Ibadan, will serve as a registration point alongside the Federal College of Education (FCE) Special CBT Centre, Oyo, and the JAMB PTC in Igboho.

Kwara State sees the inclusion of the JAMB PTC at the National Headquarters Annex, located just after Oyun Bridge on Old Jebba Road, Ilorin. The University of Ilorin's CBT Centre at the Mini Campus has also been made available for DE registrations.

Lastly, Osun State has expanded its registration facilities with three additional points: the JAMB PTC behind the Technical College WAEC road, Alekuwodo, Osogbo; the JAMB PTC in Block Y (Commercial) OSPDC, Oroki Estate, Service Area, Ilobu Road, Osogbo; and the JAMB PTC in Gbongon.

This expansion is expected to streamline the registration process for DE candidates, ensuring that they can complete their applications efficiently and in a timely manner. JAMB's proactive approach reflects its commitment to providing accessible education opportunities to all aspiring students across the nation.
