The requirement aims to enhance student data management, security, and identification for exams and official records.

Kaduna Polytechnic has directed all students of the College of Administrative Studies and Social Sciences (CASSS) to upload their passport photographs on the student portal as part of efforts to enhance data management and security.

In a notice dated February 25, 2025, the institution emphasized that this requirement is mandatory for all students. The uploaded passport photograph will serve multiple purposes, including student identification, examination verification, campus security, and official documentation.

Students have been instructed to log in to their portal, navigate to the "Profile" or "Update Profile" section, and upload a recent passport-sized photograph in JPEG or PNG format. The photograph must be clear, not exceed 1MB in size, and display the student's full face and shoulders.

The deadline for compliance is March 1, 2025. Failure to upload the required photograph may lead to challenges in accessing student services, including examination registration and Form B printout.
