Kaduna State Students Union Issues Urgent Safety Notice Over Rising Criminal Activities on Campus

The Kaduna State Students Union (KADSSU), Kaduna State University Chapter, has issued an urgent safety notice to students following reports of increasing criminal activities on campus.

 

According to the notice, there have been incidents of phone and bag snatching, particularly targeting female students, in the afternoons. The union has urged students to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.

 

Safety Precautions:

- Take necessary precautions when walking alone, especially during afternoons.

- Sit in populated areas where there are other students.

- If approached by suspicious individuals, shout for help and seek assistance from nearby students or security personnel.

The union has assured students that their safety is a top priority and that they are working closely with the school security team to enhance security measures on campus.

 

"We understand the concerns and frustrations of the victims and the general public, and we kindly request their patience as we work tirelessly to resolve this issue," said the President-Elect of KADSSU.

 

The union has urged students to report any incidents or suspicious activities to the authorities and to work together to create a secure and safe campus environment.
