FULafia Council Extends Registrar's Tenure

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Lafia, FULafia, Nasarawa State, has approved a one-year extension of the tenure of the institution's Registrar, Dr Nuradeen Abdu.

The extension was approved at the Council's 28th regular meeting held recently at the Old Senate Chamber of the Permanent Site Campus.

The Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Modupeola Adebimpe Adebajo, congratulated Abdu on the extension and commended his contributions to the repositioning and development of the Registry Department in particular, and the University in general.

"The Registrar has contributed significantly to the administration and development of the institution," she said.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, also congratulated Abdu, wishing him continued success in the discharge of his responsibilities.

With the extension, Abdu will continue to serve as Registrar of FULafia until 2028.
