Kashim Ibrahim University Addresses Student Transportation Concerns
Kashim Ibrahim University has responded to concerns about new student transportation procedures, clarifying that it hasn't banned public transport but reorganized the process to enhance security.
The university now directs all transportation, including university-owned buses, Borno Express buses, and Keke NAPEP riders, to load students from inside the campus, addressing security concerns raised by parents and stakeholders.
Registered Keke NAPEP riders and dedicated buses will support student movement, with Borno Express buses loading first. The university has also deployed security personnel, including Civil Defence, DSS, NDLEA, and military personnel, to curb criminality.
The measures aim to ensure the safety and security of over 10,000 students, aligning with the ideals of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum .
