Investiture Ceremony of Barrister Samira Balarabe as USSA Patron at KASU
In a historic event on Monday, 19th February 2024, the University Secretarial Staff Association (USSA), KASU Branch, held the investiture of Barrister Samira Balarabe as its Patron.

The ceremony, a landmark occasion, unfolded in the esteemed presence of the Branch Chairman, Comrade Musa Josiah Kallah and other Branch Executives, at the main campus in Kaduna.
During the investiture, Comrade Musa expressed profound gratitude for the Association's recognition and honour bestowed upon the Registrar, Barrister Samira Balarabe. He acknowledged her outstanding leadership and administrative skills, which have significantly transformed the Registry Department in a short span since assuming office. The appointment of Barrister Samira Balarabe as the first Patron of USSA reflects her noteworthy support and contributions to the association's development.

Underlining the association's commitment to "Efficient Service Delivery," the Branch Chairman outlined plans to organize regular conferences and workshops for members. Additionally, there are plans for the imminent inauguration of the KASU Branch of the Chartered Institute of Professional Secretarial Staff of Nigeria (CIPSSON) were revealed as part of the association's strategic initiatives.
The investiture ceremony witnessed the presence of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Strategy, Innovation, and Service Delivery, Prof. Helen Afang Andow alongside Registry Staff who joined in celebrating this momentous occasion in the office of the Registrar at KASU's main campus.
