Falalu Bawale, the Katsina State Head of Service, has pledged to enhance the welfare of corps members by addressing key issues related to their allowances and accommodations. During a meeting with the newly posted State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Ibrahim Saidu, Bawale assured that the government is taking steps to resume the payment of monthly allowances to serving corps members.
Bawale also addressed concerns about the provision of decent accommodation for corps members, promising that their worries will be resolved. He confirmed that the NYSC will soon receive overdue supplies, including mattresses and plastic chairs, to improve the living conditions of the corps members.
Earlier, the Katsina State NYSC Coordinator had highlighted the discomfort faced by corps members due to inadequate accommodation, with many unable to afford suitable living arrangements. Bawale’s assurances aim to alleviate these concerns and ensure a better living experience for the corps members stationed in Katsina State.
