KHAIRUN Welcomes 578 New Students in 2nd Matriculation Ceremony

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), recently held its second matriculation ceremony, welcoming 578 new students from across Nigeria. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the students' academic journey, formally inducting them into the global academic community.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, warmly welcomed the students and paid tribute to the university's founder, late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu (Khadimul Qur’an). He emphasized KHAIRUN's commitment to entrepreneurship, Islamic morals, and Qur’anic education, urging students to uphold these values.

The university has made significant progress since its inception, hosting over 20 academic seminars, launching two international journals and two professional journals, and establishing collaborations with local and international institutions.

KHAIRUN's infrastructure has also undergone significant transformation, with the university's library expanded to include digital access and extended hours. The university boasts smart classrooms, a fully functional website, and round-the-clock security.

Preparations are underway to launch new programs, including Law (LLB) and Medicine (MBBS). The university offers a range of programs across three faculties, prioritizing academic excellence, innovation, and character development.

The Registrar, Mal. Yusuf Datti, administered the matriculation oath, officially inducting the new students into the academic community of KHAIRUN.
