The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano, under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba, facilitated a spiritually enriching end-of-month prayer session through the International Institute of Qur’anic Science (IIQS).

The event brought together staff, students, and members of the university community for a time of reflection, devotion, and supplication.

During the session, Malam Abdulrashid Babuga, Director of IIQS, highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing the importance of Salat al-Tarawih as a means of strengthening faith, seeking Allah’s mercy, and fostering discipline among believers. He also emphasized the value of Ittikaf, describing it as a period of spiritual retreat dedicated to worship, contemplation, and closeness to Allah, particularly during the last ten days of Ramadan.

Malam Babuga further discussed the virtues of Lailatul Qadr (Night of Decree), encouraging participants to intensify their prayers, supplications, and acts of worship during this blessed night, which carries rewards greater than a thousand months.

The session concluded with the recitation of Surat al-Mulk by Malam Yahaya, marking a solemn and reflective end to the gathering.
