Kogi State Polytechnic Suspends Deputy Registrar, Four Others Over Alleged Fake Results

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, says the institution has uncovered a fake results syndicate operating within the school. The discovery has led to the suspension of five staff members, including a Deputy Registrar.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lokoja on Wednesday, Professor Ogbo described the case as a serious attempt to damage the Polytechnic’s image and credibility.

He explained that the illegal network was uncovered after a joint investigation by the school’s Admission, ICT, and Security Units. The team found that some students, former students, and staff had been forging National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) results for money.
