MAPOLY Announces Commencement of 2025/2026 Academic Session, Approves Full Calendar

The management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has announced Monday, 27th October, 2025, as the official commencement date for the First Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Mr. Yemi Ajibola, the decision was approved during the Academic Board Meeting held on Tuesday, 28th October, 2025, where the new academic calendar was formally ratified.

Mr. Ajibola stated that all newly admitted National Diploma (ND1) and Higher National Diploma (HND1) candidates, both Full-time and Part-time, are expected to begin their online clearance and registration immediately. This process includes the payment of acceptance and school fees.

He noted that Saturday, 6th December, 2025, has been approved as the deadline for the completion of First Semester registration for all categories of newly admitted students, regardless of their admission batch.

As contained in the approved academic calendar, lectures are set to begin on Monday, 10th November, 2025, for all students. Those currently undergoing the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) will receive seven weeks of online lectures followed by seven weeks of in-person classes.

Mr. Ajibola emphasized that students should complete their registration promptly to avoid penalties, as late registration will attract a fine ranging between ₦5,000 and ₦10,000. He further disclosed that the 2025/2026 Matriculation and Oath-Taking Ceremony will hold on Wednesday, 4th March, 2026, while First Semester Examinations will commence on Monday, 9th March, 2026.
