KSUSTA Mourns the Loss of Sheikh Muhammad Arzika Yar'auduwa

The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Arzika Yar'auduwa, who passed away in Argungu at the age of 81.

Sheikh Muhammad Arzika is survived by two wives and 27 children, including prominent figures such as Prof. Ibrahim Muhammad Umar, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies at Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero; Col. Aminu Muhammad of the Nigerian Army; Dr. Habib Muhammad; and Nazeer Muhammad of the Nigerian Customs Service.

Governor Idris also expressed his sympathy to the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama'ila Muhammadu Mera, who attended the funeral prayer of the esteemed cleric, as well as to the entire Argungu Emirate for the loss of this respected figure.

Sheikh Muhammad Arzika passed away on Sunday after a brief illness and was laid to rest on Monday according to Islamic rites. Governor Nasir Idris prayed for Allah's mercy upon him and for strength and comfort for the bereaved family in this time of loss.
