Correctional centre in Ife, Osun State, has been equipped with classrooms by a non-profit organisation, Inmates Educational Foundation.

The organisation rebuilt the classrooms and provided 100-seater chairs and tables, 250 notebooks and core textbooks and other materials at the facility.

The foundation said it was in response to findings that seven of 10 inmates in correctional centres lack access to education or are dropouts.
