The 1st Lagos Spring School in Digital Entrepreneurship & Digital Cultures (LSSDEDC-2025) officially commenced on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the University of Lagos (UNILAG). The event, organized by the Centre for Digital Humanities, University of Lagos (CEDHUL), was inaugurated with a grand opening ceremony at the Tayo Aderinokun Memorial Hall.

The opening ceremony was characterized by insightful discussions on Africa’s digital future, emphasizing the growing importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in the digital age. Thought leaders, scholars, and industry experts converged to deliberate on strategies for fostering digital transformation and equipping young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills to thrive in the evolving digital economy.
