2023/2024 Admission Indegeneship Screening Ends As Vc Hosts Verification Committee To Exit Meeting.

The Indigeneship Verification component of the 2023/2024 Academic Session Admission Exercise formally ended on Thursday, 17th August 2023, as the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM hosted Chairmen of the Five Divisions to an exit meeting at the Vice Chancellor's Conference Room, 6th floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.

The Chairmen representing the Five Divisions; Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos and Epe, while presenting their reports, appreciated the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM and all members of the University Management for finding them worthy of the assignment. They also reported that the exercise had been hugely successful and made recommendations to the management on ways to improve the process in the future.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Adenike Boyo, thanked the Committees for their service and expressed University Management's willingness to continue to improve on the process.

The Chairman of the Independent Indegeneship Verification Committee (IIVC), Dr. Maruf Animashaun, in his remarks, thanked the Vice Chancellor for giving the Committee the free hand to carry out their assignment in the four-week exercise.

Dr. Animashaun explained that all eligible candidates were screened and cleared and expressed his optimism that the Committee has done a good job.

The meeting was attended by members of the University Management as well as senior officials of the Vice Chancellor's Office.
