Speaking at the orientation program for newly admitted students, Dr. Ohen praised their decision to join the Faculty of Arts, emphasizing that the faculty offers diverse programs tailored to various interests and career aspirations. She reminded the students that true success extends beyond academic excellence, encompassing personal growth, character development, and skill acquisition.
Dr. Ohen also highlighted the importance of time management, advising students to adhere strictly to their lecture timetables to ensure adequate preparation for examinations.
The orientation featured lectures on course registration, dress code, moral conduct, university rules, and time management, delivered by Dr. Charles Agha, Dr. G.O. Onwuka, Dr. Rufus Ijeh, and Dr. Mrs. B.U. Okoh.
A key highlight of the event was the inauguration of the Faculty of Arts Students' Association (FASA) Caretaker Executive Committee. The newly inaugurated executives include:
