Lagos State University (LASU) has marked a historic achievement in the prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings 2024, securing prominent positions among top African institutions. Released on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
LASU's rankings are as follows:
- Best State University in Nigeria
- 2nd Best Public University in Nigeria, behind Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria
- 4th Best University in Nigeria out of 37 ranked institutions
- 30th Best University in Africa among 129 evaluated universities
