LASU Announces Capacity Building Course on Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies
LASU Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, in collaboration with UNFPA and LASU Consult, has announced the launch of a Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) Capacity Building Course.
The Lagos State University (LASU) Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (CRPSGBV), in collaboration with UNFPA and LASU Consult, has announced the launch of a Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) Capacity Building Course. This program is designed to equip individuals and organizations with the skills necessary to prevent and respond to gender-based violence during emergencies.
The two-week course is aimed at graduates of tertiary institutions, government organizations, security agencies, local and international NGOs, and women-led organizations. It seeks to strengthen the capacity of participants in addressing gender-based violence (GBV) during crises.
Eligibility and Application Process
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. To apply, interested candidates are required to pay an application fee of N10,000 into LASU Consult's designated account. Accommodation is available upon request for interested participants.
The application process can be completed through LASU’s online portal, with detailed instructions provided for generating an application number, making payments, and submitting required information.
