LASU Celebrates Unity in Diversity at 4th GNS Day

Lagos State University (LASU) recently hosted its 4th General Nigerian Studies (GNS) Day, coinciding with Nigeria's 65th Independence Anniversary and the 4th Anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello's tenure.

The event, themed "Ethnic Diversity in Nigeria: Emotional Intelligence to the Rescue," brought together university management, staff, students, and cultural troupes from across Lagos.

The Director of the Centre for General Nigerian Studies (CGNS), Professor M.O.B. Mohammed, praised the Vice-Chancellor's visionary leadership, which has driven LASU's progress in academics, infrastructure, and student welfare.
