LASU International School Records Outstanding 2026 UTME Performance, Produces Six 300+ Scorers
The Lagos State University International School (LASUIS) has once again reinforced its reputation for academic excellence with an impressive performance in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Out of 53 students who sat for the examination, six candidates scored 300 and above, with Michelle Igabari emerging as the top performer with a remarkable score of 356.
Further breakdown of the results shows that 24 students scored between 250 and 299, while 23 candidates scored between 200 and 249, reflecting a 100 per cent pass rate among all registered candidates.
The performance has been widely described as a strong affirmation of the school’s consistent academic standards, disciplined learning culture, and sustained investment in quality teaching and student development.

Management of the Lagos State University International School attributed the success to structured academic support, committed teaching staff, and a performance-driven learning environment that continues to position the institution among the top secondary education centres in Lagos State.
The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, Distinguished Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, congratulated the school community on the achievement. She specifically commended the LASUIS Board, chaired by Professor B. G. Abidogun, as well as the management, staff, parents, and students for their collective contribution to the outstanding results.
She reaffirmed LASU’s commitment to strengthening its educational pipeline from secondary to tertiary level through sustained academic excellence and institutional support.
