LASU Suspends Admissions into Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme for 2024/2025 Academic Session
Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the suspension of admissions into its Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme for full-time regular students for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the suspension of admissions into its Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme for full-time regular students for the 2024/2025 academic session. This decision, made after extensive deliberations at the University Senate meeting on Friday, November 15, 2024, aims to reorganize the programme to better meet industry demands and global standards.
The Senate cited two main reasons for the suspension: the need to update the programme’s curriculum to enhance its relevance and ensure it aligns with current global practices, and the necessity to incorporate skills that will improve students’ employability and career prospects in the evolving job market.
As a result, candidates admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session under the Full-Time Degree with Comprehensive Entrepreneurship Programme (Stream 2) will now be transferred to the Full-Time Degree Programme (Stream 1), which does not include the entrepreneurship component. These students will pay fees applicable to the standard Full-Time Degree Programme.
Returning students currently enrolled in Stream 2, who are in 200, 300, 400, and 500 levels, will continue their studies under the original programme until graduation.
All stakeholders are advised to take note of these important changes.
