Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU), has expressed her profound gratitude for the outpouring of congratulatory messages she received on the occasion of her third anniversary in office, marked on Friday, September 20, 2024.

In a heartfelt message, Professor Olatunji-Bello acknowledged the genuine love and support conveyed through various platforms by members of the LASU community and beyond. "I am touched by the thoughtfulness and genuine love that your messages convey, and I take none of them for granted," she said.

As her tenure progresses toward its final stretch, the Vice Chancellor assured the university community that her drive, focus, and motivation remain as strong as they were from the outset. "This is a promise I make to my esteemed members of the LASU community and those outside who wish me well: My drive is as steady as it was on day one," she affirmed.

Reiterating the collective goal of elevating LASU to greater heights, Professor Olatunji-Bello called for continued collaboration and unity among all stakeholders. "We can only achieve our goal of becoming the best university if we continue to work together," she emphasized, urging for sustained support on the journey ahead.
