The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has defended its decision to award First-Class honours to 94 out of 11,528 graduating students, asserting that the academic achievements reflect the university’s commitment to excellence and alignment with global education standards.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the institution’s 17th convocation and 35th Founders’ Day celebration, Vice Chancellor Prof.
Rasak Olatunde Rom Kalilu praised the quality of LAUTECH’s graduates, citing their outstanding performance in both public and private sectors as evidence of the university’s credibility.
