LAUTECH Praised for High-Quality Manpower and Environmental Compliance at International Conference

Prominent Nigerian professionals, including the 30th President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Arch. Mobolaji Adeola Adeniyi, and former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka, yesterday commended the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, for producing high-quality manpower for the nation.

Prominent Nigerian professionals, including the 30th President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Arch. Mobolaji Adeola Adeniyi, and former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka, yesterday commended the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, for producing high-quality manpower for the nation.

The experts praised the good representations LAUTECH graduates are displaying in their respective workplaces.

Arch. Adeniyi specifically eulogised the University for maintaining high gender balance and environmental sustainability. Professor Eleka added that LAUTECH products’ compliance with ethical standards wherever they are found remains commendable.

Speaking at the 1st International Conference of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, themed "Economic Reforms and its Impact on Sustainable Built environment," Professor Eleka stressed the need to balance the benefits of economic reform with minimizing the negative effects of the built environment on the general environment to ensure a sustainable community.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Development), Professor Tunde Ogunkunle, welcomed participants to the conference held at the LAUTECH Main Campus in Ogbomoso. He stated that economic reforms significantly impact the built environment as they shape design output, construction methods, and the policies governing cities and infrastructure.
