PVC SENSITIZATION OUTREACH
As the Nigerian political climate heats up, the National Vice President of LAWSAN , Her Excellency, Florence Agogo OOL, on Thursday the 2nd of February led a number of Lawsanites in the city of Calabar on a PVC sensitization outreach and campaign.
The project was borne out of the need to promote popular participation in the electoral process and task of nation building. It is an already established fact that the vote of the citizenry is their power and strength, the right to have a say in the general affairs of the country and this cannot be achieved without the Permanent Voters Card.
Speaking in the course of the sensitization campaign, the National Vice President tasked the INEC body and other related authorities to ensure the proper issuance of PVCs, to afford every Nigerian the opportunity to exercise their franchise. She also noted that the Permanent Voters Card is the major weapon with which the people can fight the resonating hardship in the crumbling system.
