In a heartwarming online tribute, a man known as Nanpon took to Twitter to celebrate his wife's remarkable decision to forgo an opportunity to study in Australia and instead marry him in Nigeria.
Nanpon, who tied the knot with his beautiful wife, shared their journey, which has now led to the joy of parenthood. The couple has already welcomed their first child, who is now two years old, and they have another on the way.
Accompanied by photos of the couple, Nanpon reflected on their decision, stating, "Three years ago, this woman literally refused to go to school in Australia because she wanted to marry me. What was she thinking? Now a liter of fuel is almost 700 naira, and she's stuck here with me, a 2-year-old baby and another on the way ????. But guess what? She's having the time of her life as I am also! There are downs, quite alright, but we have a lot of ups!!!!"
He went on to highlight the growth and faith that have characterized their journey, saying, "We're learning to walk with God, we're growing every day, we're being an example of a godly family to our generation! We're seeing the light and being the light! Tash is a bundle of joy, and we are filled with joyous anticipation for the baby that's to come! It's glorious!"
Nanpon expressed his deep gratitude for his wife's sacrifice, concluding with a declaration of his love and commitment, stating, "Thanks babe for the sacrifice. I don't know if I would have done the same. Just kidding. I will give you the world. I love you so so so so so much ❤️."
