MAUTECH Leadership Pays Courtesy Visit to National Security Adviser

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Modibbo Adama University, Yola, His Excellency Alhaji Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi, alongside the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, in Abuja.

The visit served as an opportunity to felicitate with the NSA and to brief him on issues relating to campus security. 

The university leadership also appealed for his support through his office in strengthening safety and security measures to safeguard staff and students.

In his response, Malam Nuhu Ribadu commended the university’s leadership for their proactive approach and assured them of his readiness to collaborate with the institution in ensuring a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for learning, teaching, and research.

The meeting further underscored the importance of partnership between universities and national security agencies in fostering stability and progress within the education sector.
