McPherson University Donates Motorcycle to Ajebo District Police Command to Boost Community Security

In fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), McPherson University today, Monday, December 8, 2025, donated a new Bajaj motorcycle to the Ajebo District Police Command.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Francis Igbasan, presented the motorcycle to the District Officer of the Command, ASP Felix Shada, during a handover ceremony held on the university campus.

The donation is intended to bolster security operations and enhance the rapid response capability of law enforcement along the critical Ajebo–Seriki Sotayo axis. The new vehicle will improve police mobility and patrol coverage within the host community and surrounding areas.

Present at the event were key university officials, including the Acting Registrar, Mr. Olufemi Adebowale; University Bursar, Mrs. Aderonke Adeofun; Chairman of the Security Committee, Prof. Michael Osho; and Chief Security Officer, Mr. Tiamiyu Rasheed.
