Meet Christiana Botson, ATBU Best Bioresource Engineering student

Meet Christiana Botson Yakubu: ATBU best 400-level student from the department of Agric and Bioresource Engineering, who also doubles as the departmental president.

Christiana Botson Yakubu was born in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau State.

She attended Baptist Primary School for her elementary studies and proceeded to Baptist College for her secondary education. Being among the top students, she represented her school on several occasions, including mathematics competitions. She served as the Head Girl in both her junior and senior secondary school.

She graduated as the best graduating student and received multiple awards in recognition of her exceptional performance.

In 2018, she was admitted into the department of Agric and Bioresource Engineering, ATBU Bauchi. Since then, she has kept the fire blazing, as she is currently the best student in her class.

Her leadership qualities have shone brightly throughout her academic journey. She is the former vice president of the Agric and Bioresource Engineering Students' Association. Currently, she is the president of the Agric and Bioresource Engineering Students Association, ATBU Bauchi. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes integrity, open-mindedness, and a clear vision for achieving goals.

Beyond academics, Christiana is a passionate advocate for engineering innovation. Her strong foundation in engineering principles is complemented by hands-on experience gained through various projects, both within the university and in the local community. Christiana actively promotes a culture of creativity and problem-solving, as evidenced by her organization of campus-wide engineering competitions and contributions to sustainable engineering initiatives.

Christiana's dedication to academic excellence, coupled with her strong leadership skills and passion for engineering innovation, makes her a valuable asset to the ATBU community.
